Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1:1 online tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Assess student learning needs and create customized lesson plans
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom) for interactive sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Collaborate with academic team to refine teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum and standardized testing (SAT/ACT)
- Strong technology proficiency with virtual teaching tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- North Carolina residency required
- Background clearance and teaching certification preferred
- Passion for student success and adaptive teaching style
