Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, Test Prep)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive digital platforms (Zoom, Canvas, custom software) for dynamic lessons
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and EduConnect team members
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms and digital learning tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- North Carolina residency and reliable internet connection
- Background check clearance and ability to work legally in the US
