Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Chicago Public Schools curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless virtual classroom management
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and enhance outcomes
- Maintain flexible availability during weekday evenings and weekend hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Illinois teaching certification (or equivalent in another state)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Patience and adaptability working with diverse learning styles
- Background check clearance required
