Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via video conferencing software.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning style and pace.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes and constructive feedback sessions.
- Maintain a professional online presence and foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment.
- Utilize digital whiteboards and interactive tools to visualize complex concepts effectively.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on student performance and goals.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled) in Education, Math, Science, English, or a related field.
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area (K-12 preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
- Highly reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with technology, including video conferencing tools and basic educational software.
