Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and school curricula
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessments) during sessions
- Communicate proactively with parents, students, and academic coordinators
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum refinement initiatives
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Illinois teaching certification or equivalent academic credentials
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, our proprietary system)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core subjects
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
