Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 and college-level students in various subjects.
- Utilize our proprietary online learning platform to deliver engaging, interactive lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
- Create and adapt lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum requirements.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging online presence to foster a positive learning environment.
- Attend mandatory virtual training sessions and weekly team meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or current enrollment in a teacher preparation program).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students is highly preferred.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom) and learning management systems.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
