Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Ohio state standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/educators
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations) for engaging lessons
- Prepare students for standardized tests (OST, SAT, ACT)
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Ohio teaching certification preferred (not required)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage remotely
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects
- Background check and child safety certification required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace
