Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with Ohio State Standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, NearPod, Khan Academy) for engaging sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and academic advisors
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
- Collaborate with a team of subject-matter experts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Ohio teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms and digital assessment tools
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose learning gaps
- Excellent communication with students and families
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Background check clearance required
