Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards (TEKS-aligned for TX)
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessment software) for interactive learning
- Collaborate with education specialists to refine tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical best practices and technology updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- TX teaching certification or equivalent state credential
- 2+ years of classroom or tutoring experience with proven student outcomes
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (Math, Science, ELA, or SAT/ACT prep)
- Exceptional digital literacy with video conferencing and educational software
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport with students and families
- Background check and fingerprint clearance compliant with Texas education standards
