Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions using video conferencing and interactive whiteboard tools.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's unique learning style and pace.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic improvement and confidence building.
- Collaborate with parents and academic coordinators to discuss student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and session notes within the Learning Management System (LMS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (or equivalent teaching experience).
- High-speed, reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas) is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
