Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Colorado state standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize interactive digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance engagement
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
- Maintain accurate session records and documentation in our tutor portal
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, relevant subject field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Colorado state curriculum standards and assessment methods
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated quiet workspace
- Background check clearance and willingness to obtain tutoring certification
