Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and state standards
- Track student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and academic advisors regarding student performance
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance remote learning
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum refinement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with proven student achievement
- Expertise in at least one core academic subject (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- State teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
