Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, educational apps) for dynamic lessons
- Participate in ongoing professional development and tutor community forums
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student achievements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Strong expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with virtual learning tools and video conferencing technology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- State teaching certification (or equivalent) and clean background check
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
