Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Colorado state standards and individual learning goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Utilize interactive digital platforms (Zoom, our proprietary LMS) for dynamic instruction
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize student success strategies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Valid Colorado teaching license or equivalent subject-matter certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in K-12 education or tutoring
- Proven ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles
- Strong technological proficiency with virtual classroom tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport remotely
- Background check and clearances required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (4-20 hours/week)
