Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary learning platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's unique learning style and academic goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding performance.
- Assist students with homework, standardized test preparation, and comprehension of complex concepts.
- Utilize various digital tools and resources to enhance the remote learning experience.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that builds student confidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the subject matter (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring K-12 or adult students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Proficiency with technology, including video conferencing software and online learning management systems.
