- Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum materials to ensure comprehensive understanding of subject matter.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging virtual environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and upcoming milestones.
- Participate in weekly professional development webinars to stay updated on best practices in online education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the specific subject matter, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or Higher Ed).
- Strong proficiency in technology, including video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet), LMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
