Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, ELA, or Social Studies
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Michigan curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Utilize our interactive digital tools to enhance learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic coordinators
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Michigan teaching certification preferred
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Detroit time zone)
- Background check clearance required
