Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.) for interactive sessions
- Communicate progress with parents and academic advisors
- Stay updated on educational best practices and tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not mandatory)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms and digital tools
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
