Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual one-on-one tutoring sessions using Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary learning platform.
- Create customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's academic strengths and weaknesses.
- Mentor students through complex subjects, helping them improve grades, test scores, and study habits.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student sessions, attendance, and performance metrics.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and special needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant.
- Strong command of the subject matter and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- High-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
- Proficiency in technology, including video conferencing tools and educational software.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build a positive rapport with students of all ages.
