Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online instruction in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History) to K-12 students
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for live video sessions, screen sharing, and resource sharing
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic coordinators
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our learning management system
- Collaborate with the tutoring team to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent (if applicable)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (flexible scheduling)
