Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Utilize our digital platform for interactive lessons, assessments, and resource sharing
- Maintain regular communication with students and families regarding achievements and challenges
- Participate in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Nebraska teaching certification preferred (not required)
- Background check clearance required
