Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, Spanish)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state standards and student learning goals
- Track student progress using our digital platform and provide actionable feedback to parents
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to address specific student needs
- Utilize interactive tools (virtual whiteboards, simulations) to enhance learning experiences
- Participate in monthly training sessions to refine pedagogical techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Texas state teaching certification preferred (not required for subject specialists)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) certification highly desirable
- Background check clearance required
