About the Role:
As a Remote Online Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. You will utilize our digital classroom platform to deliver personalized instruction, build confidence, and foster a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Instruction: Deliver high-quality, one-on-one tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary learning management system.
- Curriculum Design: Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials tailored to each student's individual needs and academic goals.
- Assessment: Monitor student progress through quizzes, assignments, and periodic evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Feedback: Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students and parents to track growth and maintain motivation.
- Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for students and parents, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding schedules and academic performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher is required. (Teaching certification is a plus but not mandatory).
- Experience: Proven experience in teaching or tutoring K-12 subjects or standardized test preparation (SAT, ACT, GRE).
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient with remote learning tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.) and have a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts simply.
- Reliability: Must be self-motivated, punctual, and able to adhere to a consistent weekly schedule.
