Responsibilities
- Virtual Instruction: Conduct personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions using video conferencing tools to help students master complex concepts.
- Curriculum Design: Create and adapt lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and academic goals.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to drive academic growth.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with students and their guardians regarding session progress and upcoming milestones.
- Resource Management: Utilize digital whiteboards and educational software to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow the company's code of conduct and educational guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or a related field is preferred. High school graduates with exceptional subject mastery will also be considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring (K-12 or higher education) is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection and proficiency with standard computer applications and video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply and clearly.
- Reliability: Must be self-motivated, punctual, and able to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Availability: Must be available during peak hours, typically evenings and weekends, to accommodate students in different time zones.
