Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and state standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize our proprietary digital platform for interactive content delivery and real-time feedback
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies and resources
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student achievement records
- Participate in ongoing professional development and peer coaching sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Valid teaching certification or tutoring credentials (Nebraska preferred)
- Strong analytical skills for assessing student needs and tracking progress
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (15-25 hours/week)
