Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school administrators regarding student performance
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary software) for seamless instruction
- Stay current with educational best practices and technological advancements in online learning
- Maintain accurate session records and tutoring documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years of classroom or tutoring experience
- Proficiency in video conferencing platforms and digital educational tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage students remotely
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core curriculum areas
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
