Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and adjust teaching strategies dynamically
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic advisors regarding student performance
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, educational software) to enhance learning
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports in our tutoring management system
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops and team meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, relevant subject field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms and digital educational tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
