Responsibilities
- Deliver Instruction: Conduct effective, interactive 1-on-1 and group tutoring sessions via established video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
- Curriculum Design: Create customized lesson plans and study guides that align with state standards and individual learning styles.
- Student Engagement: Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their academic goals.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of session logs, student attendance, and feedback reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or teaching certification preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with video conferencing tools, learning management systems (LMS), and standard office software.
- Reliability: Must possess a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
