Responsibilities
- Del engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons across core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with state standards and individual student needsTrack student progress using our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize interactive digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance virtual learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student milestones
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Strong proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to connect with diverse age groups
- Tennessee teaching certification or equivalent (in-state or out-of-state)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Passion for education and commitment to student success
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
