Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group online tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state standards and student learning goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive digital platforms (Zoom, Kami, Nearpod) for dynamic learning experiences
- Adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and special needs
- Maintain accurate student records and tutoring session documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent teaching certification)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with online learning platforms and digital teaching tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in virtual environments
- Valid Texas teaching license preferred (not required for non-certified subjects)
