Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary learning platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's individual learning style and pace.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging virtual classroom environment to foster student engagement and motivation.
- Communicate effectively with students to clarify complex concepts and answer questions in real-time.
- Utilize educational software and digital resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Adhere to company policies, attendance requirements, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Strong proficiency in the subject matter you wish to tutor (e.g., Algebra, English Literature, Biology).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- High-speed, stable internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Availability to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week during evening or weekend hours.
