Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions tailored to each student's learning style and pace.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and comprehension of course material across various subjects.
- Utilize our proprietary digital whiteboard and learning management systems to deliver interactive lessons.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to track progress and set achievable academic goals.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging virtual presence to foster student motivation and confidence.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve teaching methodologies and resources.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or holding a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education, the specific subject matter, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in the subject matter (e.g., Mathematics, English, Science, History) with the ability to tutor at various levels (K-12, College Prep).
- Must reside within the United States and be authorized to work.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Familiarity with online learning tools and video conferencing software is preferred.
