Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, interactive one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary virtual classroom platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific needs, learning style, and academic goals.
- Assess student proficiency levels and track progress through detailed reports and performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student performance and discuss areas for improvement.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging online environment that fosters student confidence and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum standards and test preparation strategies.
- Adhere to company policies, including data privacy and confidentiality agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience (K-12 or higher education) is required.
- Must be a US citizen or legal resident authorized to work in the USA.
- Proficient in using technology, specifically Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas, or similar LMS platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
