As a remote tutor based in New York, you will utilize our state-of-the-art virtual learning platform to deliver personalized instruction that empowers students to excel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions via video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet).
- Develop customized lesson plans and curricula tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians to ensure continuous improvement.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating virtual learning environment.
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, Regents) and academic coursework.
- Communicate effectively with students and families regarding schedules, assignments, and student performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area or equivalent teaching experience.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent grammar.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and online learning platforms.
- High level of patience, empathy, and adaptability in a remote setting.
- Must reside in New York, NY.
