As a Remote Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic success of our diverse student body, providing personalized support in subjects ranging from Mathematics and Science to English and History.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary LMS platform.
- Create tailored lesson plans and educational materials aligned with state standards and student needs.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to ensure academic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student interactions in our CRM system.
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic coordinators regarding student performance and behavioral goals.
- Adhere to all company policies, including data privacy and professional conduct standards.
Qualifications
- Must reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject you wish to tutor, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or tutoring, preferably in an online or remote setting.
- Strong proficiency in technology, including video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams) and learning management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
