Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for students via video conferencing platforms.
- Develop and customize lesson plans tailored to each student's specific learning style and academic needs.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, homework review, and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student sessions and performance using our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Stay updated on subject matter and educational methodologies to provide high-quality instruction.
- Collaborate with support staff to resolve technical issues and enhance the learning environment.
- Encourage student engagement and build rapport to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject matter or a related field.
- Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with virtual learning tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom) is highly preferred.
