Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Arizona state standards and individual student needs
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, etc.) to create dynamic learning environments
- Maintain accurate session logs and communicate student milestones to the academic team
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core area (Math, ELA, Science, or Spanish)
- Arizona teaching certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
