Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Assess student learning needs using diagnostic tools and create customized lesson plans
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize our digital platform for interactive whiteboard sessions, resource sharing, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies based on student outcomes
- Maintain accurate session records and documentation for compliance and reporting
- Participate in ongoing training to master new educational technologies and teaching strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Indiana teaching certification or equivalent subject matter expertise
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Passion for education and commitment to student achievement
- Background check and child safety clearance required
