Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance engagement
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and optimize outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and peer training sessions
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Indiana teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Proficiency in virtual classroom platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Strong technological aptitude for digital teaching tools
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions
