Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, Kahoot, Nearpod) for dynamic sessions
- Track student progress through regular assessments and detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements
- Collaborate with curriculum team to enhance teaching methodologies
- Maintain a positive, encouraging virtual classroom environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms and digital learning tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Indiana teaching certification (or equivalent) required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Background check and child safety certification mandatory
