Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Maintain accurate session documentation and communicate effectively with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student challenges and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Uphold company standards for session quality, punctuality, and student engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 2 years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Valid Florida teaching certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students
- Background check clearance required
