Responsibilities
- Conduct Live Sessions: Deliver engaging, one-on-one or small-group virtual lessons using our proprietary Learning Management System (LMS).
- Curriculum Design: Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific needs and learning style.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance and provide detailed feedback and progress reports to parents and students.
- Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and motivating online environment to encourage academic curiosity and confidence.
- Platform Proficiency: Master our virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, or proprietary software) to ensure seamless delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in the subject matter.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or College level).
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of at least one core subject area (Math, English, Science, History).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Must be comfortable with technology and internet-based communication tools.
- Location: Must reside in San Jose, CA, or be willing to work fully remote from the USA.
