The Role
As a Remote Tutor, you will be responsible for facilitating academic growth through virtual instruction. You will help students overcome learning challenges, prepare for standardized tests, and develop critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions via our secure video conferencing platform.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and academic coordinators.
- Prepare students for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging virtual learning environment that fosters student engagement.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to update teaching materials and methodologies.
- Adhere to company policies, including data privacy and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Ability to use video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and online learning management systems.
- US-based residency and valid work authorization are required.
