Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and learning materials using digital whiteboards and interactive resources.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and session notes within our learning management system.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student goals and provide updates on academic performance.
- Foster a positive and encouraging online classroom environment that promotes student confidence and curiosity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students (K-12 or College level).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with video conferencing software (Zoom, Google Meet) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and paces.
