Responsibilities
- Conduct Live Sessions: Deliver high-quality, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or our proprietary learning platform.
- Curriculum Design: Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific learning needs and goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and feedback sessions to track improvement.
- Parent Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and upcoming sessions.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot minor technical issues and ensure a seamless learning environment for students.
- Student Engagement: Utilize creative teaching methods to keep students motivated and engaged during remote sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience in K-12 or Higher Education.
- Subject Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the subject area (Math, Science, English, History, etc.) with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in using video conferencing software, LMS (Learning Management Systems), and digital whiteboards.
- Reliability: A stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace are mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient and encouraging demeanor.
- Background: Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of our compliance with educational safety standards.
