Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, personalized tutoring sessions via our secure online learning platform.
- Design and customize lesson plans that cater to individual student learning styles and pace.
- Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and complex subject matter comprehension.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide progress updates and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student sessions, attendance, and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and educational best practices to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Utilize various digital tools and resources to create an engaging virtual classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or the specific subject area (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or Higher Education).
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning needs.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Proficiency with technology, including video conferencing tools (Zoom) and Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Google Classroom).
- Ability to pass a background check and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
