Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary platform for students ranging from elementary to adult learners.
- Develop customized lesson plans, study guides, and practice exercises tailored to each student's learning style and curriculum needs.
- Monitor student progress closely and provide constructive, actionable feedback to both students and their parents or guardians.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital whiteboard tools to facilitate interactive lessons effectively.
- Maintain a professional, encouraging, and distraction-free virtual learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with the program coordinator regarding student engagement and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English) or equivalent professional experience.
- Current Texas teaching certification (preferred) or proven track record of tutoring excellence.
- Strong command of English grammar and exceptional verbal communication skills.
