Responsibilities
- Deliver Personalized Instruction: Conduct 1-on-1 or small group tutoring sessions via our secure, interactive video platform to help students master academic concepts.
- Assess & Adapt: Evaluate student progress through quizzes and assignments, tailoring lesson plans to address specific learning gaps and goals.
- Foster Engagement: Create a dynamic, encouraging virtual classroom atmosphere that boosts student confidence and participation.
- Communication: Provide timely feedback to both students and parents/guardians regarding performance and improvement areas.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student sessions, attendance, and academic progress within the Learning Management System.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant (K-12 level) is highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and online learning platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Reliability: Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
