Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one online tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Develop and customize lesson plans for K-12 students in various subjects, including Mathematics, Science, English, and History.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to parents and students to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging online learning environment using platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, or Canvas.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and upcoming sessions.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and tutoring best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field is preferred; Teaching certification is a plus.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math, Science, or English is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- High-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing software (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and learning management systems.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable.
