Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions using our proprietary learning platform.
- Adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles and proficiency levels of diverse students.
- Prepare customized lesson plans and educational materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Track student progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback to both students and parents.
- Maintain a professional, encouraging, and safe virtual learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with the academic support team regarding student challenges and achievements.
- Attend scheduled training webinars and professional development workshops to stay updated on educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the subject area you wish to tutor (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Proficiency with online learning management systems (LMS) such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or Canvas is preferred.
- A patient, encouraging demeanor with a strong commitment to student success.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and reside in the USA.
